CITY OF AMMON YOUTH T-BALL & SOFTBALL LEAGUES

The City of Ammon hosts summer baseball leagues for boys and a softball league for girls each summer. Online league sign up information is updated annually. The most recent information is available HERE. If you can’t find what you are looking for, please call the City Offices at 208-612-4000.

MOVIES IN THE PARK

PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION:

The Parks & Recreation Commission is a volunteer citizen advisory committee which meets the first Tuesday of every month at 7:30 PM at City Hall. The meetings are open to the public and public input is encouraged. The commission advises the City Council on the acquisition of lands and facilities for use as parks or recreation centers, as well as the operation, use, events, care and maintenance of City-owned parks and recreational areas.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and be a resident within the Ammon City limits or its area of impact. Successful applicants will be appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Ammon City Council. Term of service will be for 3 years.

Anyone who would like to be considered for this voluntary position should return a completed application to City Hall, or contact Josh Embrey, Ammon Parks & Recreation Director for further information.
