The City of Ammon Vision 2040 Comprehensive Plan was adopted in 2018 and amended in 2023. The purpose of the Plan is to establish:
- A community vision (gained from community input)
- Set priorities for future needs and existing conditions
- Guide future decision making
The Comprehensive Plan integrates the Strategic Plan to align goals addressing:
- City’s infrastructure, both current and future
- Business and economic development
- Technology
- Public facilities and safety
- Recreational facilities and opportunities
- Current and future land use
- Natural resources
- Transportation and housing
