Engineering

The Public Works Director & City Engineer’s Office works closely with the Public Works Department in the construction, inspection, maintenance, and operation of the City’s municipal infrastructure. Typical responsibilities include the oversight of design, permitting, review and inspection, monitoring and repairing of water, sewer, and drainage systems, as well as roads and pathways. The Engineer’s Office also coordinates with consultants and bids and awards contracts in its efforts to successfully complete projects efficiently and cost effectively.

The Public Works Director & City Engineer also represents the City of Ammon on numerous regional boards and committees providing invaluable technical feedback and local representation on behalf of City officials, staff, and residents.

The Engineer’s Office is available to answer questions on drainage, sewer, and other land development issues, in addition to performing technical reviews for site plans and subdivision plans. Our goal is to provide residents with the highest quality customer service, with integrity, and utmost professionalism.
