The Enforcement Office enforces City Ordinances related to animals and property.

Animal Services

The Enforcement Office performs a variety of animal services to help the residents and pets in our community. Services include: responding to animals in distress, reuniting lost pets and their owners, investigating animal welfare/cruelty complaints,  containing and transporting lost/found dogs to the shelter, recovering deceased animals from our roadways, responding to nuisance complaints, and enforcing other animal ordinances.

Residents are encouraged to visit the Animal Services page for specific information related to lost and found pets in Ammon and owning pets within the City limits.

We encourage everyone to spay and neuter their pets!

Property

The Enforcement Office also enforces other City ordinances, including those regulating public and private parking, abandoned vehicles, litter and weed control, nuisance complaints, home business license violations, park rules violations, and other zoning ordinances.

The Enforcement Office is located inside City Hall at 2135 S Ammon RD. The Ammon Enforcement Officer is available by appointment only. To schedule a meeting or request assistance with an enforcement concern, please contact the Ammon Code Enforcement Officer.
