Note: All plans must be submitted electronically in PDF format.

Building Permit

  • Permit Application (Available at cityofammon.us - Building Department)

Requirements for All Installations

  • Code Compliance: 2018 IBC code reference (or IRC, if applicable).
  • Electrical Plans:
    • One-line electrical diagram
    • Full electrical diagram
  • Site Details: Exact location of the solar array on the roof.
  • Equipment Specifications: All racking and mounting must be U.L. listed (documentation required).
  • Structural Integrity: Engineering letter with an Idaho stamp confirming the existing roof can support the load.
  • Safety: All safety labeling as required by code.
