The Sanitation Department is responsible for the collection and disposal of trash and solid waste for its residential properties. Commercial sanitation service is contracted through Eagle Rock Sanitation.
General Information
The sanitation crew operates from Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding all federal holidays.
FOR WEEKS CONTAINING A HOLIDAY: Trash collection for all residential customers will be delayed by one day, for the remaining balance of the week, following the holiday.
Holidays that may affect garbage collection as discussed above:
- Martin Luther King Day
- Presidents Day
- Memorial Day
- Juneteenth
- 4th of July
- Labor Day
- Indigenous Peoples' Day
- Veterans Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
- New Years Day
You will be notified of your pickup day upon signing up for service at the City Building.
The following should NOT be placed in you garbage can:
- Car Batteries
- Paint
- Antifreeze
- Solvents
- Oil
- Tires
- Cement
- Steel
- Large wood products
These items should be taken to the Bonneville County transfer station.
